Looking at the connections between art, neuroscience, education, creativity, mindfulness and making.

  • About Katie Gill-Harvey

Katie Gill-Harvey (she/her) is a teacher and artist who is always looking for creative connections in the world. She has a bachelor's degree in Art and Education with a minor in Art History and has taught in many settings ranging from preschool to middle school, summer and after school programs, museums and even homeschooling. In her own artwork, Katie enjoys experimenting with lots of different materials, often combining textiles and printmaking into her work. She sees making art as a way to learn and process and brings that not only into her own work but also into her teaching. When not making art and teaching Katie finds inspiration in spending time with her family, traveling, walking in nature and visiting museums.
